YouTube Tuesday - Is Bisphenol-A Dangerous?
It’s Tuesday again, and you know what that means. Time for our weekly YouTube Tuesday blog posting.

BPA is bad news. I thought I read somewhere that the coatings in some aluminum bottles leach BPA just like plastic bottles. Does anybody know is this true??

There is definitely no shortage of information on Bisphenol-A online, but lots of it is conflicting. One of the top sites is http://www.bisphenol-a.org. But be careful what you read on this site, it’s run by proponents of BPA. Take for example this article - http://www.bisphenol-a.org/whatsNew/20080205.html.
As a fan of wikipedia (I know, I know, it has it’s own bias issues), I commonly look there first. Here’s the article on Bisphenol-A on Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisphenol_A. It provides a good roundup of both animal and human studies as well as both Canada’s and the U.S. Government’s view of the chemical.
