This ABC News piece on bottled water exposes the two most common myths of bottled water:  1) that bottled water tastes better than tap water, and 2) the bottled water is safer/cleaner than tap water.  A scientist tests various bottled water and tap water and finds that bottled water is no cleaner than tap water.  In addition, a blind taste test between NYC tap water and various brands of bottled water concluded that the tap water was actually preferred over the expensive bottled offerings!
