Where are Pura bottles manufactured?
Pura Stainless bottles are responsibly made in China from the highest quality, toxin free #304 stainless steel. The interior surfaces of all Pura bottles are free of linings, coatings or any other potentially toxic chemicals so you can be sure that nothing will ever leach into your liquid.
Pura Stainless is committed to offering safe, quality products, and to that end, our quality control protocol and testing goes far beyond what is required of us by US government regulations.
All bottles and components have been independently tested by internationally recognized testing labs and have no detectable amounts of lead, Bisphenol-A (BPA), phthalates, or nitrosamines. We are happy to report that we meet all FDA and CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Initiative Act) regulations and guidelines as well as European Commission Directive 2002/72/EC, something that most of our competitors cannot claim.
Our manufacturing partners follow strict quality control protocols developed here in the USA by our manufacturing team. In addition, Pura Stainless executives visit our factory regularly and we have employees in China that conduct detailed quality inspections on every bottle.
