For Dehydrated Dry Skin
- 1 avocado
- 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Considering all of their healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals, avocados serve as a very versatile beauty ingredient perfect for skin care! They are in fact a super fruit! Additionally, avocados are a supreme source of biotin which is known to help prevent dry skin when consistently applied on the skin. Add yogurt and honey into the mixture and your skin will be feeling plump and fresh.
First, be sure to wash your face with lukewarm water. Blend all of the ingredients in a bowl thoroughly. Gently apply the mask on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash off the facemask with lukewarm water.
For Dull Skin
- ½ cup mashed papaya
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt
Papayas contain high contents of vitamin A, B, and C. Vitamin C has been continuously proven to brighten skin and even complexions. Keep in mind that the enzymes in the papaya serve as a natural exfoliator, helping you eliminate dead skin cells.
First, gently rinse your face with lukewarm water. Blend all of the ingredients in a bowl thoroughly. Apply the mask on to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash off the facemask with lukewarm water.
For Rough Skin
- ½ cucumber, mashed or pureed
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Cucumbers are packed with cool water! They help cool your skin, reduce redness and irritation, and provide instant hydration. This is the perfect summer face mask to stay cool after a day in the sun.
First, wash your face with lukewarm water. Blend all of the ingredients in a bowl thoroughly. Apply the mask gently on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash off the facemask with lukewarm water.
For Hyperpigmentation
- 1 tablespoon of fresh turmeric/ turmeric powder (juiced or pressed)
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tsp of honey (or 1/2 a beaten avocado if you've used juiced turmeric)

Turmeric contains an enzyme called tyrosinase which produces melanin. Over time, the use of turmeric can lead to reduced dark marks and revive the natural glow and luster of your skin.
